Although Silvo only had to give 10 lbs. each to Clashing Arms and Forewarned last week at Lingfield Park, it was the commanding way in which he won this three-mile race rather than the mere fact of his victory which pleased so much the Grand National supported of this handsome steeplechaser, of whom our next week's issue will contain a coloured reproduction from the painting by A.J. Munnings, R.A.
