With the going like a quagmire at Bournemouth, some of the runners in the Three-Year-Old Hurdle jumped very faultily. Rising Falcon (No. 15) leading the field over the first obstacles followed by Nipigon and Little Jack Horner, who, if not "sitting in a corner," as in the nursery rhyme, at any rate jumped right onto the hurdle. Squire Marten (No. 21) on the right.
